Course Details The Eagle Vail Golf Club opened in 1975, created by the Devlin/Von Hagge design team. Beginning in the 1920's, the Eagle Vail area was a working Cattle Ranch. The red barn near Hole #2 green was built in the early 1930's and served as feed and tack storage to the Oleson Family Ranch. The Vail Valley later became a major lettuce producing area as the climate was particularly productive for certain crops. As the Town of Vail grew, the ranch and farm land were sold, and today we are the proud home of one of the most scenic, true mountain golf course layouts in Colorado. Full of elevation change and unique challenging holes the course lies on both sides of the Eagle River and winds through Aspens, Lodgepole Pines, and Firs. We welcome you to the Eagle Vail Golf Club, enjoy your round! |
